Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Bark

Ingredients

  • 120g pumpkin puree
  • 50g maple syrup
  • 2.5g pumpkin pie spice (clove and cinnamon)
  • 60g protein powder (I used Equip unflavoured for this one, use code GFBEEF for a discount)
  • 140g dark chocolate +1tbsp beef tallow (I used RE.GEN regenerative tallow, link in my bio, OR you can use coconut oil instead)
  • Flakey sea salt

Steps

1Mix all the ingredients except chocolate
2Layer in thin layer on unbleached parchment paper
3Melt the chocolate with tallow or coconut oil (double boiler)
4Cover pumpkin mix with melted chocolate and even it out - make sure your pumpkin puree is not too thick! I’d recommend making it thin, it has a very strong flavour.
5Sprinkle with some flaky salt if using and freeze for at least 1h.
6Break in pieces and store in freezer
